Hi Everybody,
Please help save my angel; my mom’s life. She has worked all her life helping others. Now my mom is fighting to save her own life.
As some of you may know, my mom has undergone multiple surgeries, chemotherapy and numerous indignities trying to overcome Stage IV Ovarian Cancer for the past 3 years.
My mom is a strong, talented, deeply loving soul. Her light and positive energy are inexhaustible. Her strength and determination are inspirational. Her joyful nature and faith in the ultimate goodness of life in the midst of her suffering, are remarkable.
She is immeasurably loved and admired by many and right now she is in the midst of her third battle with cancer and she needs our help to pay for treatments and therapies that are critical to her recovery.
In the past my mom had dedicated her life to helping others. Her professional endeavors sought to help people attain better opportunities through her staffing skills and in midst of the 2008 recession, she worked hard to bring Renewable Energy training to Arizona to help construction professionals re-align skill sets to support themselves and their families during those hard-economic times.
She has since donated all her Solar curriculum and equipment to a high school who will be teaching Solar installation to the students who have an interest in pursuing this technology.
My mom currently lives with me in Houston, TX. We relocated here so that I could attend the Houston Ballet Academy. I am 17 years old.
She is my emotional core; I can’t lose her to this disease. My mom's light is not ready to be dimmed in this world. Her friends need her, her family need her, her community needs her … I need her.
It is very difficult for my mom to ask for help. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover any of the costs of the alternative treatments she needs to survive, not to mention the fact that her ability to work has been drastically reduced. She has not been able to work at all this year.
Because conventional treatment is no longer effective, she has to seek treatment through Clinical Trials, Stem Cell Transplants and Alternative therapies to save her life. These are all out-of-pocket costs.
We are seeking to raise $50,000. These funds will enable my mom to see the specialists she needs and receive potent and costly treatments such as Immunotherapy, Vaccines, Stem Cell treatment and Bone Marrow transplants which have shown great promise in treating recurring Ovarian Cancer.
The good news is that the cancer has not spread into any of her major organs and there are many treatment options still available to her, however she needs financial help to pay for them.
With what I have been told, we are confident that we are on our way to a cure for her disease with these new treatments that have shown outstanding results for recurring Ovarian cancer.
Could you please donate something so that my mom might have a fighting chance against this disease?
For us, time is of the essence.
